Pete Solley’s production places Forbert’s self-written songs in a fuller band setting, from “Get Well Soon” and “Cellophane City” to the brief “Lucky.”

Collector Note
This U.S. Nemperor JZ 36595 pressing is from Columbia’s Pitman plant, identified by the “P” prefix in both runouts. Both sides carry the “STERLING” mark; the release credits Greg Calbi for mastering at Sterling Sound. This copy has Side A “-1J” and Side B “-1A” matrix suffixes.

Availability
Single copy available—once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Condition & Details
Media: VG player copy
Sleeve: VG+

Technical Details
Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, Pitman Pressing
Label: Nemperor Records – JZ 36595
Country: US
Released: 1980
Genre: Rock
Style: Folk Rock

Matrix / Runout
Side A: P AL 36595-1J 1 STERLING
Side B: P BL 36595-1A 1 STERLING

Tracklist
Side A
A1 Get Well Soon – 3:53
A2 Cellophane City – 5:33
A3 Song For Carmelita – 1:55
A4 Laughter Lou (Who Needs You?) – 3:10
A5 Song For Katrina – 3:30
A6 One More Glass Of Beer – 4:20
Side B
B1 Lucky – 1:12
B2 Rain – 3:10
B3 I'm An Automobile – 2:58
B4 Schoolgirl – 3:01
B5 If You've Gotta Ask You'll Never Know – 2:15
B6 Lonely Girl – 3:23
B7 A Visitor – 4:27

Shipping & Handling
Ultrasonically cleaned using a Degritter Mark II prior to shipping.
Stored in protective inner and outer sleeves.
Shipped with vinyl protection and cardboard reinforcement.
Packed securely for safe delivery.

About Maple City Music
Maple City Music is a veteran-owned record store in Vermont focused on honest grading, fair pricing, and high-quality media.
