🎹 Vermont Artist Spotlight: Frankie White

From Colchester to Victory — A Rising Force in Vermont Music

Frankie White is no stranger to Vermont’s stages — but now she’s making headlines far beyond. In October 2025, Frankie took first place in the Shoals City Showdown, earning the Judge’s Pick for her powerhouse “Dream On × Beverly Hills” mashup. This national-level win proves what we’ve already known here in Vermont: Frankie White is one of our most exciting voices on the rise.

🎧 Musical Journey & Sound

brain dead (EP, 2024)

Frankie’s brain dead EP marked a breakthrough moment. Recorded with New Orleans producer Mars Cooper, the four-track record captures her emotional depth and genre-blending artistry.

Highlights:

• 🎵 “brain dead” — darkly witty and raw

• 🎹 “crab” — intimate piano and harmony layers

• 🎸 “no in between” — grungy edge and introspection

Her sound pulls from classical roots and indie grit, merging Birdy’s vulnerability with Weezer’s bite — all wrapped in her distinctive Vermont storytelling.

🎤 Live Energy: Frankie & The Fuse

Frankie performs both solo and with her full band, Frankie & The Fuse, giving her songs fresh life on stage.

• Weekly Residency: Thursdays, Red Square (Burlington, VT) — 7–9 PM

• Homegrown in Vermont Festival: Stowe Village Green

• Buffalo Iron Works (NY): November 26, 2025 — with VØYAGR & Stephen Babcock

Her sets move effortlessly between quiet confession and rock catharsis — the kind of performances that make you stop and really listen.
