Maple City Music is a veteran-owned, vinyl-focused record store based in St. Albans, Vermont. We offer curated new and used records online and will launch a community-driven brick-and-mortar store after our founder’s military retirement.

Yes! Maple City Music was founded by a 28-year U.S. Army veteran and serves as a space for healing, music appreciation, and community connection, especially for fellow veterans and service members.

We offer flat-rate shipping for each product we sell and offer a local pickup option. Details are available at checkout.

All items must be in good to excellent condition:

• No mold, mildew, or water damage

• Vinyl must not be warped or cracked

• Tapes and CDs must play without skipping or distortion

• Original outer sleeves or cases are required

Unfortunately, we do not accept vinyl records, CDs, or tapes without their original sleeves, jackets, or cases. This helps protect the media and add value to your collection.

Before contacting us:

• Make sure your collection is clean and dry

• Organize it by format (vinyl, CD, cassette)

• Note any rare or standout items

• Snap a few photos to send in advance (optional but helpful)

At Maple City Music, all shipping costs are calculated in real-time using USPS Ground Advantage or Media Mail based on the exact weight and dimensions you see listed for each product. No guessing what you see at checkout matches what is printed on your label.

Carrier-calculated shipping is available for most U.S. addresses and is based on retail USPS rates.

• Orders placed before 5 PM ET Monday–Friday are typically processed and shipped the same day.

• Orders placed after 5 PM ET or on weekends ship the next business day.

• You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

Shipping Option Details USPS Media Mail ideal for vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and DVDs; cost-effective and trackable. Requires accurate weight & dimensions. USPS Ground Advantage used for games, electronics, and orders that exceed Media Mail eligibility. Includes tracking and $100 insurance. USPS Priority Mail applied when larger or heavier items exceed standard package zones. Free Shipping Automatically applied for U.S. orders over $100.

All rates are calculated at checkout, no manual guesswork.

📦 Shipping Container Logic

Squarespace calculates the fewest number of packages per order and selects the best-fit container based on product sizes and weights. This minimizes shipping costs and ensures accuracy.

If you have orders with products using different shipping profiles (e.g. Media Mail vs. Priority), checkout may split them into separate shipments.

⏱️ Estimated Delivery Times

• Media Mail: 2–8 business days (depending on destination)

• Ground Advantage: 2–5 business days (tracking included)

• Priority Mail: 1–3 business days

These estimates begin once your package ships.

🚚 Local Pickup & Delivery

• St. Albans, VT customers can select free local pickup at checkout.

Currently, Maple City Music only ships within the U.S., including the continental states. No international shipping offered at this time.

🔄 Returns & Exchanges

• Returns accepted within 30 days (see our Returns Policy for full details).

• If return shipping is required and the item wasn’t damaged, the shipping cost is deducted from your refund.

• Damaged or mis-shipped items qualify for a pre-paid return label at no cost to you.
