If you’ve been craving something heavier than heavy, something that feels like doom, noise, and raw truth colliding, meet Body Void, one of the most essential extreme bands from Vermont right now.

Who they are (and why they matter):

Body Void formed in 2014 (originally under the name Devoid) and later relocated to Winooski, Vermont bringing a fierce New England presence to a sound rooted in sludge/doom, drone, noise, and industrial textures.

Their music is confrontational, cathartic, and intentionally uncomfortable in the best way, often tied to queer and political themes,s with a focus on making art that means something.

A retiring Master Sergeant with over 28 years of service in the U.S. Army, Walter brings the same dedication and community focus to Maple City Music that guided his military career.
