Where is Maple City Music located?
Maple City Music is located at:
12 Kingman Street
Downtown Saint Albans, Vermont
We're a veteran-owned independent record store serving Saint Albans, Franklin County, visitors from across Vermont, our neighbors in Canada, and music collectors worldwide through our online store.
Do you sell new or used records?
Yes! We carry a mix of new and pre-owned vinyl records, along with CDs, cassettes, music collectibles, and other items.
Our inventory ranges from affordable listening copies and familiar classics to collectible pressings and harder-to-find releases.
How often do you add new inventory?
All the time.
New and pre-owned inventory arrives regularly, and we're constantly adding records and other items to the store and online catalog.
Check our New Arrivals collection frequently, and stop by the store to dig through the bins. With inventory constantly changing, you never know what you'll find.
Do you buy record collections?
Yes. We're always interested in hearing about record collections.
Whether you have a handful of records or a much larger collection, contact us and tell us what you have.
Photos, approximate quantities, artists, genres, and general condition are helpful when reaching out about a collection.
We may also be interested in CDs, cassettes, music collectibles, and other music-related items.
How do you grade used records?
We believe strongly in honest, conservative grading.
Our vinyl grading system follows widely accepted collector standards, and when appropriate, we evaluate the record and jacket separately.
We would rather you be pleasantly surprised by a record's condition than disappointed because we graded it too generously.
Visit our Record Grading & Condition Guide for more information about our grading standards.
Do you clean used records?
Yes. We professionally clean qualifying pre-owned vinyl using our Degritter Mark II ultrasonic record cleaning machine.
Ultrasonic cleaning helps remove dust, debris, and contaminants from within the record grooves and is part of our commitment to properly preparing pre-owned vinyl for its next owner.
Cleaning cannot repair scratches, groove wear, or existing damage, and cleaning does not change a record's condition grade.
How are records shipped?
Records are carefully packed using protective record mailers and appropriate packaging materials designed to help protect both the vinyl and jacket during transit.
As record collectors ourselves, we understand that receiving a record safely is just as important as finding the right record in the first place.
Can I order online and pick up at the store?
Yes. When local pickup is available for your order, you can purchase online and pick it up at our 12 Kingman Street location in downtown Saint Albans.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping may be available depending on the destination and order.
We've successfully shipped records internationally, including to Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Please contact us before ordering if you have questions about international shipping availability, rates, or a specific destination.
Can you help me find a specific record?
Absolutely.
If you're searching for a particular artist, album, pressing, or other music-related item and don't see it in our current inventory, contact us.
We can't guarantee we'll find every title, but we're always happy to know what our customers are looking for.
Can I see additional photos of a record before purchasing?
Absolutely.
If you'd like additional photographs or have questions about the condition, pressing, jacket, labels, or other details of an item, contact us before purchasing.
We're happy to provide additional information whenever possible.
Is Maple City Music veteran-owned?

Maple City Music was founded and is owned by Walter Byrne, a U.S. Army veteran with more than 29 years of military service.
