Why This Record Matters
Get Your Wings is Aerosmith’s second studio album and marked the beginning of the band’s work with producer Jack Douglas. Recorded at the Record Plant in New York, it includes “Same Old Song And Dance,” “Train Kept A Rollin’,” and “Seasons Of Wither.” The album helped establish the hard-rock direction Aerosmith would develop further on subsequent 1970s releases.
