Why This CD Matters
Answer That And Stay Fashionable is AFI’s debut studio album and was originally issued by Wingnut Records in 1995 before its later Nitro Records reissue. Recorded by Andy Ernst at Art of Ears in Hayward, California, the album documents the band’s early punk sound. “Two Of A Kind” and “Yürf Rendenmein” were later re-recorded for AFI’s second album, Very Proud Of Ya.

Collector Note
This early U.S. Wingnut Records CD edition carries catalog number WRCD-1370 and predates the later Nitro Records reissue. The supplied matrix reads “WR 1370 MASTERED BY NIMBUS,” identifying this as the Nimbus-manufactured issue; George Horn mastered the album at Fantasy Studios.
