Why This CD Matters
Children of the Mountains preserves Alli Lubin’s 1983 collection of original Vermont folk, country, blues, and bluegrass-influenced songs. Lubin performs guitar, flute, and synthesizer alongside members of Banjo Dan and the Midnite Plowboys. The album captures the acoustic character of Vermont’s independent regional music scene.
