Amy Rigby – Middlescence (CD, HDCD, Album, Koch Records KOC-CD-7998)

Why This CD Matters
Middlescence is Amy Rigby’s 1998 second solo album, pairing jangling pop-rock guitars with her sharp, conversational songwriting. “All I Want” finds humor and ache in a relationship growing distant, while “The Summer Of My Wasted Youth” and “As Is” turn everyday frustrations into memorable character sketches. Elliot Easton’s production gives the songs a full band sound while keeping Rigby’s lyrics front and center.
