Michael Tilson Thomas conducts the English Chamber Orchestra, with the Tallis Chamber Choir and soloists Suzanne Murphy, Carolyn Watkinson, Dennis O'Neill, and Gwynne Howell in the Ninth. The recordings were made at EMI Studio One, Abbey Road, London, in 1983 and 1984.
