Recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, Boz Scaggs pairs Scaggs with musicians including David Hood, Roger Hawkins, Barry Beckett and Jimmy Johnson. Duane Allman contributes dobro and slide guitar, most notably on the extended “Loan Me A Dime,” which became one of the album’s defining performances.

US Atlantic non-gatefold reissue pressed by Presswell, with the original album’s SD 8239 catalog number. The Side A AT/GP marking identifies a George Piros lacquer cut at Atlantic Studios, and this copy includes the original Atlantic/Atco inner sleeve.
