Nothing But A Burning Light was Bruce Cockburn’s first album released through Columbia Records and his first collaboration with producer T-Bone Burnett. The album combines folk, roots rock, blues, and gospel influences, with guest contributions from Booker T. Jones, Jackson Browne, Sam Phillips, Jim Keltner, and Mark O’Connor. “A Dream Like Mine,” “Great Big Love,” and “Mighty Trucks Of Midnight” received significant Canadian radio exposure.

This US Columbia repress was glass mastered by Sony Music’s Pitman facility under catalog number CK 47983. The album was recorded at Scream Studios, engineered and mixed at Ocean Way Recording, and mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound.
