Reckless became Bryan Adams' commercial breakthrough and includes "Run To You," "Heaven," "Summer Of '69," "Somebody," and the Tina Turner duet "It's Only Love." Bryan Adams and Bob Clearmountain produced the album, with Jim Vallance serving as associate producer and co-writing the songs with Adams. The album became a defining mainstream rock release of Adams' 1980s catalog.

This 1984 U.S. A&M Records SP-5013 edition was pressed by Electrosound Group Midwest, with the "Emw" runout marking and "B" label identifier supporting the pressing identification.
