Cheap Trick At Budokan was recorded in Japan in April 1978 and became the band's breakthrough live album. Its concert versions of “I Want You To Want Me” and “Surrender” helped establish Cheap Trick with a much wider U.S. audience. The album became one of the band's defining releases and a landmark of late-1970s power pop and hard rock.
