Why This CD Matters
Collective Soul’s self-titled second album became one of the band’s defining 1990s releases, featuring “December,” “The World I Know,” “Gel” and “Where The River Flows.” Ed Roland and Matt Serletic produced the album, with Bob Clearmountain mixing most of the tracks. The album followed the band’s breakthrough debut Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid and further established Collective Soul in mainstream alternative rock.
