Why This CD Matters
The Trinity Session was recorded live at Toronto’s Church of the Holy Trinity on November 27, 1987 using a single Calrec Ambisonic microphone. Produced by Peter Moore, the album became Cowboy Junkies’ breakthrough and includes their distinctive interpretation of the Velvet Underground’s “Sweet Jane.”

Collector Note
This U.S. RCA repress carries catalog number 8568-2-R on the spine, booklet, and disc, with 8568-2-R-RE-1 printed on the rear insert. This edition was glass mastered and pressed by JVC Disc America and dates from 1994 or later based on its SID-code configuration.
