Why This Record Matters
“Misfit” was the debut single by British pop band Curiosity Killed The Cat and became a UK Top 10 hit when reissued in 1987. Produced by Stewart Levine, the song blends synth-pop with polished pop-funk, while its music video was directed by Andy Warhol and featured one of his final screen appearances.

Collector Note
1987 US Mercury 12-inch single pressed by Specialty Records Corporation and mastered at Sterling Sound. This four-track edition contains the extended version, 7-inch edit, club mix, and dub mix.
