Released in 1986, Boomtown is the only studio album by David Baerwald and David Ricketts as David + David. 1986 U.S. Carrollton pressing on A&M Records (SP-5134) with Bernie Grundman mastering and the original printed lyric insert included. Pressed at Columbia Records' Carrollton, Georgia plant, this edition is identified by the etched "G" in the runout matrices. Following this release, David Baerwald and David Ricketts went on to successful careers as respected songwriters and producers, giving this lone collaboration lasting significance.
