Deftones – Eros (Vinyl, LP, Limited Edition, Unofficial Release, Red Translucent, Aug 2026, Maverick)

Why This Record Matters
Eros was recorded in 2008 as the intended follow-up to Saturday Night Wrist, but Deftones shelved the album after bassist Chi Cheng’s accident and started again with what became Diamond Eyes. This release presents the shelved material, including “Smile,” “Diamond,” and “Destiny.”

Collector Note
Discogs identifies this as an August 2026 European limited-edition unofficial LP on Maverick, pressed on red translucent vinyl. Eros was never officially released as a Deftones album.
