Derrick Semler – Message to You (CD, Album, 1998, Independent)

Why This CD Matters
Derrick Semler was the original frontman of the N-Zones, an important fixture in Vermont’s late-1970s and early-1980s blues-rock scene. Message to You blends blues, soul, country, and roots rock with Semler’s humorous, character-driven songwriting. Songs such as “Green Mountain Lullaby” also give the album a distinctly Vermont identity.

Collector Note
This is the original independently released 12-track CD edition. The later digital version uses a different running order and omits “Your Right Hand” and “Path of Love,” making this physical edition the more complete version of the album.
