Time Is The Distance was Deviates’ second full-length album and their Epitaph debut, following 1998’s My Life on Theologian Records. The 14-track release represents the South Bay band’s early-2000s melodic punk period and was produced by the band with Darian Rundall.

This 2001 U.S. Epitaph CD edition carries catalog number 86599-2 and was manufactured by Disctronics Group in the United States. Darian Rundall recorded, engineered, mixed, and co-produced the album, with mastering by Eddy Schreyer at Oasis Mastering.
