Geoffrey Perkins produced the recordings, which were among the early commercial audio editions of The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.

This matched pair consists of the 1982 Hannibal Records cassette editions of The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy Part One and Part Two: The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe. Both photographed cassettes retain their distinctive Hipgnosis-designed J-cards, with the first using the space-themed artwork and the second the yellow rubber-duck cover. The cassette shells credit Douglas Adams as writer and Geoffrey Perkins as producer.
