Greatest Hits collects 17 Earth, Wind & Fire recordings spanning their major 1970s and early 1980s work, including “Shining Star,” “September,” “Fantasy,” “Let's Groove,” and “Boogie Wonderland.” Maurice White and Leo Sacks produced the compilation, drawing from recordings originally produced by White with collaborators including Charles Stepney and Al McKay. The collection was remastered by Mark Wilder at Sony Music Studios in New York City.
