Why This CD Matters
A focused recital of 20th-century French music showcasing the distinctive pairing of flute and harp. Edward Schultz and Karin Fuller perform works by Jean Cras, Eugène Bozza, Henri Büsser, Jean-Michel Damase, and Jacques Ibert, balancing atmospheric miniatures with Damase’s substantial four-movement sonata.

Collector Note
This Musical Heritage Society edition was recorded in August 1987 at the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. The uncommon program includes Jean Cras’ Suite en duo alongside flute-and-harp works by four other French composers.
