Elton John – Honky Château (Vinyl LP, 1972, UNI Records 93135, All Disc Pressing, Envelope Gatefold)

Why This Record Matters
Honky Château was Elton John’s fifth studio album and became his first album to reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard album chart. The album includes “Rocket Man (I Think It's Going To Be A Long, Long Time),” “Honky Cat,” and “Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters.” Produced by Gus Dudgeon and engineered by Ken Scott, it was recorded at Strawberry Studios in France and remixed at Trident Studios in London.
