Armed Forces is Elvis Costello and The Attractions’ 1979 album, produced by Nick Lowe, and includes “Accidents Will Happen,” “Oliver's Army,” and “Green Shirt.” The US edition closes with the Attractions’ recording of Nick Lowe’s “(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding,” which became one of Costello’s best-known recordings.

This January 1979 US Columbia JC 35709 stereo edition was pressed by Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman. The supplied Variant 2 runouts carry the Pitman pressing indicator, and this copy includes the original printed inner sleeve.
