Description

Why This Record Matters
Love Beach was Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s seventh studio album and their final studio release until Black Moon in 1992. Recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, the album pairs shorter Greg Lake-led songs with the side-long suite “Memoirs Of An Officer And A Gentleman,” written with longtime collaborator Peter Sinfield.

Collector Note
1978 US stereo pressing manufactured by Goldisc Recording Products, identified by GOL etched in both runouts. Both sides were cut at Atlantic Studios by Dennis King and carry the stamped ATLANTIC STUDIOS D.K. mark. This copy includes the original inner sleeve and bi-fold merchandise order form.
