Why This CD Matters
Dark Sky Island was Enya’s first studio album since 2008’s And Winter Came... and continued her long-running collaboration with producer Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan. The album’s concept drew inspiration from the island of Sark and its designation as a dark-sky community. “Echoes In Rain” served as the album’s lead single, while the deluxe edition expands the standard 11-track program with three additional songs.

This U.S. deluxe edition was released by Warner Bros. Records on November 20, 2015 under catalog number 553131-2 and barcode 825646994441. The 14-track configuration adds “Solace,” “Pale Grass Blue,” and “Remember Your Smile” to the standard album program. This edition was pressed by Technicolor in Olyphant, Pennsylvania.
