Why This Record Matters
Ooh La La is Faces’ fourth and final studio album, recorded at Olympic Studios and produced and engineered by Glyn Johns. The album includes “Cindy Incidentally,” “Borstal Boys,” “Glad And Sorry,” and the Ronnie Wood-sung title track, with songwriting and vocal contributions highlighting Ronnie Lane’s central role in the band. Released in 1973, it became the final Faces studio album before Lane’s departure from the group.

This is a 1973 U.S. Warner Bros. Records BS 2665 pressing with the supplied Variant 3 matrices BS 2665 40314-1 and BS 2665 40315-1 etched in the runouts. The U.S. edition was issued in an elaborate interactive sleeve featuring an animated front cover and a gatefold rear. This VG+/VG copy includes the confirmed original inner sleeve.
