Why This CD Matters
The Dance reunited Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks for performances recorded in 1997. The 17-track album revisits “The Chain,” “Dreams,” “Rhiannon,” “Landslide,” “Go Your Own Way,” and other staples while also introducing new material including “Temporary One” and “Bleed To Love Her.” Released during the 20th anniversary year of Rumours, The Dance reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and marked a major commercial return for the classic lineup.
