Why This Record Matters
4 became one of Foreigner’s major commercial releases and includes “Juke Box Hero,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” and “Urgent.” Produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange and Mick Jones, the album also features Junior Walker’s saxophone solo on “Urgent” and synthesizer contributions from Thomas Dolby and Larry Fast.

Collector Note
This 1981 US Atlantic SD 16999 stereo edition was pressed by Specialty Records Corporation, identified by the SP runout markings and E A S T embossing around the Side B spindle hole. The supplied runouts also carry STERLING and EDP markings, with mastering credited to George Marino, and this copy includes the original inner sleeve.
