Brother To Brother became one of Gino Vannelli’s major commercial successes and features “I Just Wanna Stop,” one of his signature songs. The album combines polished pop and soft rock with jazz-influenced arrangements, backed by musicians including Jimmy Haslip, Ernie Watts, Victor Feldman, and Mark Craney. Gino, Joe, and Ross Vannelli jointly produced and arranged the album.

Collector Note
This original 1978 U.S. A&M Records pressing was manufactured at Columbia’s Pitman plant, identified by the stamped P and SP 5181-P1 / SP 5182-P1 runouts. The album was recorded at Davlen Sound Studios and mastered by Bernie Grundman at A&M Mastering Studios.
