Hipsway – The Honeythief (Vinyl 12-Inch Single, 1986, Columbia)

Why This Record Matters
“The Honeythief” became Hipsway’s signature song, reaching the UK Top 20 and crossing into the US pop and dance markets. This 12-inch edition collects the Galus Mix, the concise single version, and an additional extended mix.

Collector Note
This US Columbia edition was pressed at Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Carrollton and cut at Artisan Sound Recorders. The sleeve and labels contain conflicting mix titles and sequencing; the runout matrices distinguish the actual sides of this known pressing variation.
