Jefferson Starship – Dragon Fly (LP, Album, Stereo, Indianapolis Pressing, 1974, Grunt BFL1-0717)

Why This Record Matters
Dragon Fly introduced Jefferson Starship as a band identity after Paul Kantner and Grace Slick’s post-Airplane projects. Marty Balin’s guest vocal on “Caroline” connects the new group to Jefferson Airplane and helped make the song a radio favorite.

Collector Note
This US Grunt/RCA copy was pressed in Indianapolis, identified by the stamped I plant mark, and has Kendun marks in the runouts. It includes its original custom lyric-and-graphics inner sleeve.
