Jimi Hendrix Experience – Smash Hits (LP, Compilation, Stereo, Pitman Pressing, 1969, Reprise Records MS 2025)

Why This Record Matters
Smash Hits brings together “Purple Haze,” “Hey Joe,” “Fire,” and “All Along The Watch Tower,” tracing the Experience’s blend of blues, psychedelic rock, and adventurous guitar work. This US compilation pairs early singles with selections from the band’s studio catalog.
