Why This CD Matters
Dance Naked is John Mellencamp’s 1994 studio album, a concise nine-song release produced by Mellencamp and longtime collaborator Mike Wanchic. Its best-known track is a cover of Van Morrison’s “Wild Night,” recorded with Me’Shell Ndegeocello, while the album also includes the title track, “Brothers,” and “When Margaret Comes To Town.” Kenny Aronoff and Andy York are among the principal musicians credited on the sessions, and Bob Ludwig mastered the album.
