Josh Magis – Blacktop Serenade (CD, Mid-2000s, 23 Records)

Why This CD Matters
Blacktop Serenade blends acoustic rock, indie songwriting, and Americana influences into a reflective early-2000s independent release. Josh Magis combines melodic guitar work with introspective songwriting rooted in the regional singer-songwriter tradition. Small-label Vermont releases like this were typically distributed locally and remain difficult to locate outside New England music circles.

Collector Note
Original US independent pressing on 23 Records. Mid-2000s Vermont indie and acoustic-rock CDs were generally sold through local venues and independent retailers with limited overall production.
