Kate Barclay – Sunshine From Mars (CD, c.2000, Solstice Records)

Why This CD Matters
Sunshine From Mars blends singer-songwriter sensibilities with acoustic pop and indie rock influences characteristic of the early 2000s independent music scene. Kate Barclay's warm vocals and melodic songwriting create an accessible yet personal listening experience. Independent Vermont and New England releases from this era remain difficult to find outside regional markets.

Collector Note
Independent release on Solstice Records from the Vermont music community. Regional singer-songwriter and indie-pop titles with limited distribution continue to attract collectors of Northeast independent music.
