Why This Record Matters
Klark Kent was the pseudonym used by Police drummer Stewart Copeland for his solo recordings, with Copeland handling the vocals and multiple instruments himself. This eight-song collection includes “Don't Care,” “Away From Home,” “Guerilla,” and the instrumental “Theme For Kinetic Ritual.” Copeland produced the material with Nigel Gray, whose engineering and production work was also central to the early recordings of The Police.

Collector Note
This is the 1980 U.S. I.R.S. Records / Kryptone Records SP 70600 10-inch album on green translucent vinyl, with the supplied Variant 4 etched runouts. This distinctive edition was issued with rainbow I.R.S. center labels and a 10-inch record housed inside a 12-inch die-cut outer sleeve.
