Why This CD Matters
Led Zeppelin III marked a broadening of the band’s sound, balancing heavy rock tracks such as “Immigrant Song” with acoustic-oriented material including “Tangerine” and “That's The Way.” Jimmy Page produced the album, with engineering credited to Andy Johns in London and Terry Manning at Ardent Studios in Memphis. The ten-track program also includes “Since I've Been Loving You,” “Gallows Pole,” and “Bron-Y-Aur Stomp.”
