Why This Record Matters
Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth album is one of the central releases in the band’s catalog, combining hard rock, blues, folk, and acoustic elements across eight tracks. The album includes “Black Dog,” “Rock and Roll,” “The Battle of Evermore,” “Going to California,” “When the Levee Breaks,” and “Stairway to Heaven.” Produced by Jimmy Page, the record captures the range of styles that defined Led Zeppelin during its early-1970s period.

Collector Note
This 1982 U.S. Atlantic reissue carries catalog number SD 19129 and is a Columbia House club edition, identified by “Manufactured By Columbia House Under License” on the jacket and CRC markings on the labels. The T/T1 identifiers in the supplied runouts identify Columbia’s Terre Haute pressing facility, while Side A also carries the COLUMBIA NY mastering mark; this cover variation has the gold-colored lantern inside the gatefold. The confirmed original printed inner sleeve is included with this copy.
