Flex is Lene Lovich’s second studio album and includes the singles “Bird Song” and “Angels.” Recorded at Wisseloord Studios, the album was produced by Lovich, Les Chappell, Roger Bechirian, and Alan Winstanley. Lovich’s vocals and saxophone are joined by a band featuring Chappell, Mark Heyward-Chaplin, Justin Hildreth, Dean Klevatt, and Nick Plytas.

This 1980 U.S. Stiff-Epic edition is the label variant with the Stiff Records copyright information split across two lines and carries NJE 36308 on the spine and JE 36308 on the labels. The supplied deadwax has the distinctive etched messages “Lene Is The Leader” and “Les Is More,” with STERLING stamped on both sides. This copy includes the original inner sleeve.
