Why This CD Matters
Killing Katie. is a 1997 Link 80 EP from the band's early Asian Man Records period and the final Link 80 recording to feature vocalist Nick Traina. Recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley with Steve Fontano, it combines studio material with additional tracks including three live recordings from 924 Gilman Street. The release followed the band's 17 Reasons album during a formative period for both Link 80 and Asian Man Records.

This is the 1997 US Asian Man Records CD edition, catalog number 014, with barcode 6 12851-0014-2 8. It was issued in a standard black-tray jewel case with a folded insert containing photographs, lyrics, and acknowledgments; tracks 8 through 11 are unlisted on the release.
