Why This Record Matters
Sittin' In began as a Kenny Loggins project with producer and former Poco member Jim Messina before developing into the duo's first album together. It introduced enduring songs including “Danny's Song,” “Vahevala,” and “House At Pooh Corner.” Recorded in Los Angeles during the summer of 1971, the album established the folk-rock and country-rock sound Loggins and Messina would develop throughout the 1970s.
