LAGQ's Guitar Heroes is a tribute to guitarists who influenced the quartet, with pieces honoring musicians including Ralph Towner, John McLaughlin, Jimi Hendrix, Pat Metheny, Steve Howe, Django Reinhardt, Frank Zappa, and Chet Atkins. The recording features Andrew York, John Dearman, Scott Tennant, and William Kanengiser and was produced by Robert Woods. The album won the 2005 Grammy Award for Best Classical Crossover Album.

This 2004 US Telarc edition carries catalog number CD-80598 and was glass mastered by DADC under DIDX-094816. Recorded at O'Henry Sound Studios in Los Angeles in December 2003, the CD was produced from Direct Stream Digital masters made during the sessions.
