Why This Record Matters
Loverboy is the band’s 1980 debut album and includes “Turn Me Loose” and “The Kid Is Hot Tonite.” Produced by Bruce Fairbairn, it features Mike Reno on lead vocals, Paul Dean on guitar and vocals, Scott Smith on bass, Matt Frenette on drums, and Doug Johnson on keyboards. Bob Rock engineered the album at Little Mountain Sound Studios.
