Why This Record Matters
Absolutely is Madness’s second studio album and includes “Baggy Trousers” and “Embarrassment,” two of the band’s defining early singles. Produced by Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley, the album continued the group’s distinctive combination of ska and British pop songwriting.

This US Sire SRK 6094 repress was pressed at Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Winchester, with mastering at Sterling Sound. The supplied runouts include the Winchester pressing mark and STERLING stamp on Side A, and this copy includes the original printed “Nutty Boys” family-tree inner sleeve.
