Why This Record Matters
This US compilation brings together “Our House,” “It Must Be Love,” “House Of Fun,” and “Night Boat To Cairo,” showcasing Madness’s mix of ska rhythms, pop songwriting, and distinctly British storytelling. Its twelve tracks connect the band’s early ska sound with the melodic direction heard on “Tomorrow’s Just Another Day” and “Primrose Hill.”
Collector Note
1983 US Geffen pressing manufactured by Specialty Records Corporation, identified by the embossed E A S T around the center hole.
