Why This CD Matters
Vapor Drawings is Mark Isham’s debut solo album and was the first electronic-oriented album released by Windham Hill Records. Isham builds the nine instrumental compositions from synthesizers, trumpet, flugelhorn, piano, soprano saxophone, Steiner EVI, and electronic percussion. The album established the electronic and atmospheric direction Isham explored before his extensive later work as a film composer.
