Why This Tape Matters
Yourself Or Someone Like You was Matchbox 20’s debut album and established the band through songs including “Push,” “3 AM,” “Real World,” and “Back 2 Good.” Rob Thomas handles lead vocals, with Kyle Cook, Adam Gaynor, Brian Yale, and Paul Doucette completing the band lineup. Matt Serletic produced and mixed the album, which became the group’s breakthrough release.
